We’re serious about making friends. Ever since we got together with Renault in 1999, we’ve enjoyed steady growth and now have over 12,000 people working for us globally. We have around 12,500 in Europe alone and 224,000 globally. We’re even opening a spanking new production facility in Russia (brrrr), and we have one design centre in London and one R&D center in Cranfield where we’re leading the development of the next generation of Nissan cars.
We cannot WAIT to unveil our latest electric and hybrid original electric prototypes in 2012.
And most importantly, we’ve become closer to the environment. We’re trying to cut CO2 emissions in manufacturing by 7% compared with 2005. That’s a lot, but we’re going to do it.
We just happen to be... oh everywhere.
At Nissan we get around. We’ve got regional headquarters, technical and design centres, holding companies, holding and leasing entities all over the world. So next time you’re on your holidays, take a look around you. You might just bump into us.
